Changwon NC Park, which is about to host its first fall baseball game since opening, proved its popularity by selling out all seats in four years.
The NC Dinos announced on the 9th that “the second game of the doubleheader against the Lotte Giants was sold out as of 5:20 p.m.”. All 17,861 seats for the game were sold. This is the highest attendance record at Changwon NC Park this season.메이저놀이터
According to the organization, this is the third time Changwon NC Park has been filled to capacity since opening in 2019. Previously, all 21,112 seats were sold for the first game after opening on March 23, 2019, against the Samsung Lions, and on April 13, 2019, against the Lotte Giants. It was also the fourth largest crowd since the stadium opened (20,67 against Changwon Samsung on March 24, 2019).
This season, NC has been performing beyond expectations. As of August 8, NC is in third place with a season winning percentage of 0.545 (61 wins, 51 losses, and 2 draws). Even as the battle at the top of the standings continues to heat up, NC hasn’t dropped off and has maintained its pace. If they secure fourth place or better, they will play the postseason at home for the first time since the opening of Changwon NC Park. In 2020, when they won the overall title, the postseason started late and was held at the Gocheok SkyDome as a neutral site.
Meanwhile, the team will present one advance ticket for an infield seat (1st or 2nd) for a regular season home game to a random 2023 fan from the second game of the doubleheader on September 9, following the team’s pre-season pledge to sell out. In addition, gifts prepared by the players, including head coach Kang In-hwa, who pledged the club’s spring jumper for the 2023 season, and Eric Pedi and Kim Joo-won, who pledged signed jerseys, will also be given away through a lottery.
