Coach Heo Young-cheol revealed his determination to face T1.
On the 1st, at the LCK Arena located in Roll Park, Jongno-gu, Seoul, the first round of the ‘2023 LCK Spring’ regular season, Liv Sandbox vs. Nongshim Red Force, was held.
On this day, Nongshim was pushed back in all lines except for the top, and eventually lost 0:2 and added one loss of the season.
In the interview with the losing team after the game, coach Heo Young-cheol and Ha In-seong gave a general review of the game, as well as a loss against Liv and San Park, and their determination to face T1.
The following is the full text of the interview with director Heo Young-cheol and Ha In-seong.
First of all, please give me a general review of the game. 먹튀검증
Director Heo: Actually, there is something prepared for the Liv Sanbak match. However, when scrimming, the opposing team had to come up with the composition we wanted, but it wasn’t easy. When that composition came out, it was practiced to some extent, but when I tried it at the competition, it was more difficult. It seems that the game was difficult from start to finish.
Ha In-seong: As the coach said, during scrims, the ban/pick didn’t come out like we were preparing for the match against Liv. At the end, I thought I had practiced and prepared well, but I think the fact that I made mistakes in the beginning of the actual game had a bad effect.
(To Coach Heo) What did you pay attention to while preparing for the game?
In the last match, we won because we were confident and did what we were good at, but since we can’t go with only one color, we wanted to show a different color in this match. Also, I thought that there was a way to go to the playoffs only if I did this, so I practiced in this direction, but I don’t think I’m ready yet. Although we lost this game, I don’t think it’s a situation where the players lose confidence or get hit hard.
(To Coach Heo) Does this mean that the team needs to show off its performance at some point?
Even if we win with one color, going to the big stage is difficult anyway, so even if we don’t get results right away, we try to go the path we think is right. Rather than ‘I will wait forever’, it would be nice to see it as ‘I will make various colors’.
(To Ha In-seong) The bot seemed difficult throughout the game, right?
Looking at the games we’ve played so far, we’ve played Jerry and Lucian a lot, except for today’s game, but we were confident in the picks we made today, and we didn’t think it was a pick that wasn’t right for us. It seems that the problem was that the level of perfection was lacking compared to the opponent.
(To Ha In-seong) What do you think of Kim “Faze” Soo-hwan?
Last year, I played in the Challengers League with ‘Face’. At the time, ‘Pace’ was a player who was good at dealing in teamfights, but was lacking in basic laning skills. But now he seems to have gotten really good at basics and has become a player who is good at teamfight positioning and dealing. I think he is a very good player.
(To Ha In-seong) What do you think has improved compared to last year?
After coming up to the first team, the coaches and coaches gave me a lot of good feedback, so I learned how to make up for the laning game and make the game while playing. We are improving by listening to your feedback.
Next is the T1 match, and I’m curious about your resolution.
Director Heo: Nothing will change just because the opponent is strong, and we plan to keep it as we practiced. I showed a somewhat disappointing performance today, but in the next game, whether I win or lose, I will show a much more interesting performance.
Ha In-sung: T1 is a very good team, but we will try our best to show you a fun game by making up for the parts that were disappointing today.
