‘Dreaming of the next Lee Jeong-hyeop and Lee Dong-joon’ Busan checks technique with priority call-up training

Busan IPark held a priority player mustering drill to check the skills of the club’s youth resources.

Busan held a muster drill at the clubhouse at 12:0 p.m. on April 24 to check the skills of 14 of the club’s priority players, who are currently enrolled in their third year of high school and second or third year of college.

Jo Hye-sung (Jungang University/WF) and Heo Seung-chan (Sun Moon University/MF), who signed semi-professional contracts with Busan in 2021, as well as Yoon Sang-sang (R/LB), Park Se-woong (WF), and Oh Jun-seo (RB), who led Hannam University to the 2023 Spring University League title, participated.

Kim Min-seung (GK), Lee Soo-ah (MF), and Lee Hwa-yeop (CB), all juniors at Kaesong High School, also joined their older brothers. 메이저놀이터

This is the first time Busan has organized such a training session. It was the first time Busan held such an exercise. It was the so-called ‘Kaesong High Alumni Association’.

Head coach Park Jin-seop and other club officials, including the coaching staff, strength and conditioning staff, and scouts, all gathered to see the growth of their youth resources.

The purpose of the training camp is to give the players a chance to check their skills and provide them with the motivation to continue their growth when they return to their schools.

In the past, such tests have been limited to positions of need, but this time around, all positions were covered.

Busan has been actively recruiting and developing the club’s youth resources, prioritizing more than 10 players with semi-professional contracts every year.

This call-up training is one of the new strategies to build a young and strong team.

Heo Seung-chan, who participated in the training, said, “It was great to come to the clubhouse and play after a long time. I hope there will be more opportunities like this in the future. I will try to become a better player through this training,” he said.

A Busan official said, “It’s good to be able to check the skills of our youth players through this call-up training. We will continue to create such a venue to check the skills of the prioritized players and provide opportunities for them.”
