Judo Lee Ha-rim, world championship third place… Tokyo Olympics Champion

Lee Ha-rim, a Korean judo lightweight champion, defeated the 2020 Tokyo Olympic champion and won the bronze medal at the World Championships.

Lee Ha-rim defeated Naohisa Takato of Japan, gold medalist at the Tokyo Olympic Games, in the men’s 60kg bronze medal match at the International Judo Federation World Championships held in Doha, Qatar, by foul play after a close match.

This is the first time Lee Ha-rim has reached the podium at the Senior World Championships, revealing the medal prospects for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
