‘Korean multi-infielder’ Kim Ha-seong vs. ‘Japanese No. 4 hitter’ Suzuki: Korean-Japanese batting matchup…SD vs CHC 4-game series starts on March 3

Kim “Awesome Kim” Ha-Sung, 28, and the San Diego Padres begin a four-game homestand against the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday.

The two National League clubs met once before in April, with the Cubs taking a sweep. On the mound for Game 1 on Wednesday, the Cubs will send Jameson Taillon (3-0) to the mound, while San Diego will send Michael Wacha, who will be looking for his sixth win of the season 먹튀검증.

The four-game series between the Cubs and Padres will be broadcast live on SPOTV ON and SPOTV ON2, as well as sports OTT service SPOTV NOW, beginning with Game 1 at 10:40 a.m. on March 3.

San Diego’s Ha-Sung Kim continues to be a run-scoring machine. In his last seven games, Kim is 4-for-4 (.440) with a nearly triple-digit slugging percentage. Kim has been impressive in all three series against the Cubs this season, reaching base in all three games. In Game 2, he started at second base and went 2-for-3 with a double and two stolen bases to reach 200 hits and 20 stolen bases in his MLB career, while also playing flawless defense. Kim’s batting average, which was in the high teens in April, is now in the double digits after the series against the Cubs, and we’re excited to see what he can do in the upcoming four-game series.

Japanese outfielder Seiya Suzuki (29) will try to reach base in four straight games against San Diego. In the previous three-game series against the Tampa Bay Rays, he went 5-for-10 with a home run and two RBIs to help the team win the series. In his second season in the majors, Suzuki is currently batting .293 with an OPS of .872. Most notably, he hit a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning of Game 1 against the Houston Astros on March 17, and then hit back-to-back home runs in the first and second at-bats of Game 2 the following day (March 18), becoming the first Japanese major leaguer to hit a home run in three consecutive at-bats.

The Korean-Japanese batting matchup between Kim and Suzuki, as well as other key games from the 2023 MLB regular season, will be broadcast live on SPOTV Prime and SPOTV NOW.
