Napoli haven’t given up on Kim Min-jae, “desperately trying to convince him to re-sign”

There is still time before the release clause is triggered. Napoli hasn’t given up yet.

“Napoli are making desperate attempts to re-sign Kim Min-jae,” British media outlet 90min reported on May 25 (KST). They are trying to sign him to an extension before his release clause is triggered this summer.”

Kim’s release clause will be triggered in July. He can only be bought out by teams in foreign leagues, excluding Serie A.

The buyout clause is £40 million (approximately $65 billion). This is a bargain considering his current value.

Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are in the running to sign Kim. United are even looking for a house for Kim to live in, and PSG have met with the player’s representatives.

Napoli are set to lose a key defender in just over a year. Last summer, the club paid £15 million to acquire Kim Min-jae from Fenerbahçe in Turkey. If they sell him this summer, they will make a profit of £25 million ($305 million) in just one year.

However, Napoli have decided to keep Kim, prioritizing his health over money 메이저사이트.

This season, Napoli won the Serie A title for the first time in 33 years. In the UEFA Champions League, they reached the quarterfinals for the first time in their history.

At the center of it all was Kim Min-jae, who has become one of the best central defenders in Europe. Without him, the defense and Napoli’s buildup would suffer.

Napoli tried to retain Kim by offering him a higher salary than his existing contract. Instead, they plan to add an amendment that would increase the length of the contract, remove the release clause, or increase the amount of money.
