VanVleet added that they had mutually agreed to discuss a contract extension with Toronto at a later date.

Previously, Canadian sports reporter Josh Lewenberg reported on the 8th (hereinafter Korean time) that VanVleet rejected Toronto’s offer of 114 million dollars (approximately 143.2 billion won) by setting Tyler Hiro (22) as the reference point for the new contract.

Toronto gave Hiro a 4-year, $130 million (approximately 163.4 billion won) extension contract in October of last year. Vanvelee previously won the 18-19 season in Toronto, and in November 2019, he won a contract worth 85 million dollars (about 106.8 billion won) for 4 years, breaking the highest amount from your undraft.
